Start a New Plan – Quarterly (with Free Trial)

SalaryBox now lets you choose a plan that fits your team size and needs. You can pick between the Starter and Business plans, select the number of staff, and start a 3-day trial for just ₹1 (refundable) on quarterly plans. This article explains how to get started from both the web and the Android app.

Steps to Start a New Plan from the Web #

1. Log in to the SalaryBox web portal.
   
2. After logging in, a screen will appear with the message ‘It’s time to select your SalaryBox plan’. Click ‘View Plans’.
   
3. The ‘Choose a Plan’ page will open. Select ‘Quarterly’ in the billing cycle toggle.
   
4. Click ‘Start Trial’ under your chosen plan.
   
5. In the ‘Start Trial’ popup, enter the number of users for your team.
   Note: The pricing summary will update automatically to show the Plan Charge, User Charge, and Subtotal.
   
6. Review the pricing breakdown:
   • Plan Charge – Plan fee per month.
   • User Charge – Per-user fee multiplied by your staff count.
   • Subtotal – Total monthly amount, billed quarterly.
   • Trial – ₹1 for the first 3 days (refundable).
     
7. Click ‘Continue’ to proceed to payment.
   
8. Complete the payment using your preferred method:
   • UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.)
   • Cards (Credit/Debit)
   • Net Banking
     
9. Once the mandate is set up, SalaryBox will prompt you to fill in your invoice details. Complete this step to generate your billing invoice.
   
10. Your 3-day trial begins immediately. At the end of the trial period, the quarterly amount will be charged automatically.
    Note: The ₹1 charge is refundable. If you cancel before the trial ends, no further amount will be charged.

Steps to Start a New Plan from the Android App #

1. Log in to the SalaryBox Android application.
   
2. After logging in, the ‘Select your team size’ screen will appear automatically.
   
3. Choose from the available staff options.
   Note: If your team has more than 15 staff, tap ‘Contact Us’ to get in touch with the SalaryBox team for a custom plan.
   
4. Select the staff option that best fits your team.
   
5. Tap ‘Start Trial for ₹1’ at the bottom of the screen.
   
6. Complete the payment using your preferred method:
   • UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.)
   • Cards (Credit/Debit)
   • Net banking      
     
7. Once the mandate is set up, SalaryBox will prompt you to fill in your invoice details. Complete this step to generate your billing invoice.
   
8. Your 3-day trial starts immediately. After the trial, the quarterly amount will be charged automatically.
